New Software Unveiled
24 September 2018
After four months of development and hundreds of hours of testing it was a great moment last week to unveil the latest version of the Race Trace App and analytics platform. By wirelessly synchronising the sensors, Race Trace is now able to analyse the movement and coordination of the whole body whilst swimming. It can also analyse a long swim to see the effect of fatigue and what part of your stroke starts to deteriorate first. All this data is stored securely in the cloud and can be viewed in detail on the simple to use custom analytics platform.
I couldn't wait to see to analyse my own stroke during a normal morning swim in my favourite pool in Portsmouth. A quick view of my data shows I have a lot to work on, but at least I can now start tracking the effect of my improvements and compare to other swimmers. I'll post the results here over the next few weeks as I start to ramp up the winter training.
